Since 21st May 2010, a Home Information Pack is no longer compulsory in order to market a property for sale. The principle of providing up-front information about your home remains a good one, though, so we have developed SmartSale to meet the needs of vendors who recognise the advantages available. SmartSale is a much more comprehensive, enhanced version of the HIP, involving a qualified and experienced solicitor to ensure everything required to exchange contracts is available in advance. This means that you can be ready to exchange contracts almost as soon as a sale is agreed, and significantly reduce the chance of your sale falling through.
