IPPA is the only organisation that requires evidence of an applicant’s good working practices and ability to provide compliant packs, prior to membership being granted. One of the key principles of the Home Information Pack is to provide the information required to help reduce the time taken between agreeing a sale and exchanging contracts, thereby reducing the chance of a problem occurring with a sale. HIP Matters encourage clients to provide as much of this information as possible. Whilst we feel that improvements to the current legislation are required, we believe that we should make the most of the current framework in order to help ensure our client’s sales proceed as smoothly as possible.
